After a short break from the string quartet genre, Mozart returned to this genre with a set of six quartets dedicated to Franz Joseph Haydn. The fourth of these quartets is the String Quartet No. 17 in B flat Major (K. 458), nicknamed "The Hunt". This is by far the most common and popular of the six Haydn quartets.
