Bach's Six Suites for Solo Cello (BWV 1007-1012) are part of the basic repertoire for any cellist or violist. While many editions of these works feature significant edits of dynamics and phrasing, Performer's Edition has gone back to the Anna Magdalena manuscript as the source of inspiration for phrasing and ornamentation. This edition features simplified page turns - eliminating the mid-movement page turns common to many editions of the 5th and 6th suites. |
