For our printed materials, we offer a number of binding types to meet your needs:

Paperback

Paperback - This is a traditional paperback book binding, creating a sturdy binding that is ideal for studying or transport. A paperback bind will not easily lie flat on a stand.

Flat

Flat-Bound - This is a booklet binding folded in the middle, with staples securing the part allowing for easy use on a stand. Most parts and shorter scores are bound in this manner.

Spiral

Spiral - This is a wire spiral binding along the left hand side of the book, allowing thicker scores to lie flat on a stand.

Tape

Tape - This is a binding with a heavy cover and a cloth tape along the spine of the book, which is adhered using thermal glue. This binding is more durable than spiral binding, however will not lie flat on a stand.

Hardcover

Hardcover - This is a binding using a glued spine adhering the pages together with a hard cover that has been crimped. As with tape binding, this is a more durable binding, however will not lie flat on a stand.

 

If your preferred binding is not available for a product, please contact us to request a custom price. Tape binding is available in lieu of Spiral binding on any document that lists Spiral binding at no additional charge, simply include this in the special instructions on your order when making payment.
